About Us

The Lake Elsinore Storm are a Minor League Baseball Team located in Lake Elsinore, California. The Storm are a Class-A Advanced Affiliate of the San Diego Padres and competes in the California League. The Storm has hosted home games at the Lake Elsinore Diamond (Pete Lehr Field) since being established in 1994; and the stadium has a seating capacity for 7,866 fans, but can be extended for special events and concerts. Field of Screams The Haunted Stadium takes over the stadium throughout October to spook guests in haunted mazes. The stadium also is home to the Diamond Taproom, a full-service restaurant that operates year round.

The Lake Elsinore Storm are proud to be a pillar in the local community and a provider of affordable, family fun. The icon of the Storm is Thunder, the big green dog, who is the self-proclaimed Prince of Pawsitivity and two-time Mascot of the Year. When Thunder isn't causing a raucous at the Diamond, he can be found at community events and he even hosts his own reading program at local schools. Cadejos de Lake Elsinore is the Copa de la Diversión identity of the Storm. The Storm are three-time California League Champions. Notable Storm Alumni includes Cody Decker, Darin Erstad, David Freese, Chase Headley, Corey Kluber, John Lackey, Xavier Nady, Jake Peavy, and Francisco Rodriguez.
