Buy a Bag of Books for a Buck
The Friends of the Sun City Library, a nonprofit organization, is sponsoring its famous "Buy a Bag of Books for a Buck" book sale. We provide the bag...you fill it up...you pay a buck! The regular sale is on Saturday, Oct 1st, from 9am to 2pm. But we will have a pre-sale on Friday, Sep 30th, from 11am to 3 pm for our members and those who want to be members. Over 3,000 books are on sale and a limited number of DVDs, VHS tapes, and CDs. All proceeds support Sun City Library's various programs and the purchase of new books, materials and equipment.
