City of Menifee to Host Community Workshops to Help Shape the City's Unique Identity

MENIFEE, CA – The City of Menifee is embarking on an exciting journey to shape the future of the community, and two upcoming workshops will provide residents and businesses with an opportunity to share their ideas and feedback on the Menifee Placemaking, Unique Identity, and Tourism Master Plan. This plan is designed to create a shared vision that celebrates the city’s unique identity, enhances its sense of place, and elevates tourism to benefit everyone who lives, works, and visits Menifee.

The first public workshop on Tuesday, March 25 from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. is intended for businesses to provide their input on the initiative. The second public workshop on Thursday, March 27 from 5 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. will give residents the same opportunity to share their vision for the community. Both workshops will be held at Menifee City Hall (29844 Haun Rd.).

Tourism is an important factor that allows Menifee to showcase the charm, culture, and opportunities that make the city unique. From the local businesses and natural landscapes to the vibrant arts, food, and recreation scenes, tourism has the potential to boost the local economy, create jobs, build community, and help support economic growth.

“Menifee has a tremendous and once-in-a-lifetime opportunity with our placemaking initiative. This process will determine our future goals and enhance our future economic development, by developing the city’s unique identity,” said Mayor Ricky Estrada. “We look forward to the community’s participation in our upcoming workshops to give their voice and be part of this important process.”
