Nuclear Fuel Apparel / NFA Printing is a growing custom apparel and printing company serving schools, businesses, organizations, military units, government clients, and the local community. As we expand our production capabilities, we are looking for a dependable and motivated DTG & Embroidery Production Specialist to join our team.
Position Overview
The DTG & Embroidery Production Specialist will be responsible for producing high-quality custom apparel using Direct-to-Garment (DTG) printing and commercial embroidery equipment.
This position requires attention to detail, organization, reliability, and the ability to work in a fast-paced production environment while maintaining consistent quality.
Responsibilities
Operate and maintain DTG printing equipment
Operate commercial embroidery machines
Prepare garments for printing and embroidery
Load, position, hoop, and align garments correctly
Perform DTG pretreatment and curing as required
Load artwork and embroidery files into production equipment
Verify artwork placement, sizing, colors, and customer specifications before production
Complete test prints and embroidery samples when necessary
Monitor production for print and embroidery quality
Trim embroidery backing and excess thread
Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy
Maintain organized customer orders and production areas
Perform routine cleaning and basic maintenance of equipment
Track completed quantities and identify damaged or misprinted garments
Assist with heat pressing, folding, packaging, and preparing completed orders
Help meet production deadlines for small and large-volume orders
Communicate immediately when there are artwork, garment, machine, or quality issues
Qualifications
Preferred:
Previous DTG printing experience
Previous commercial embroidery experience
Experience working in a print shop, apparel shop, or production environment
Knowledge of garment placement, print sizing, embroidery hooping, and basic artwork setup
We will also consider candidates who have experience in one area and are willing to learn the other.
